Fundraising Readiness Tool: Powered by Remedy
StreetGames has partnered with Remedy to create a custom Fundraising Readiness Tool. This tool is designed to help you assess your organisation’s current position on its fundraising journey. We understand that each organisation is at a different stage, so while the tool is tailored for community organisations using sport for good, its core fundraising principles are applicable to a wide variety of groups.
What is fundraising readiness?
Before your organisation begins fundraising, it’s important to evaluate its readiness to seek support. Do you have the resources, opportunity, expertise, internal governance and clear compelling vision to convince potential funders that your organisation is a great choice for their money?
There are 30 questions within the readiness tool covering six core areas. Once your organisation has completed the questions, you will receive an instant fundraising readiness score and personalised report identifying your strengths and areas for development.
- It takes just 10 minutes
- It’s completely free (no strings attached!)
- Receive personalised results instantly
Top Tips:
We would encourage you to involve as many people within your organisation to complete the survey as possible (anyone that is involved in the running or decision making of the organisation would be suitable). By gaining multiple views you can be confident that the results gathered will be representative and provide a ‘true picture’ of your organisation’s current fundraising position.
Encourage honesty in your reflections and responses to receive an accurate score, remember there is no judgement or anything at stake.
The Tool will score you against the following key areas:

Governance
The legal and operational framework of your organisation, including board composition, legal structure, financial health, transparency, and adherence to policies.

Impact
The demonstrable short- and long-term outcomes of your organisation's work, evidenced through monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Storytelling
How your organisation communicates its mission, impact, and needs through compelling and consistent narratives across various platforms and channels.

People
The skills, experience, and diversity of your organisation's team, from leadership to volunteers. Does your team have appropriate expertise, capacity and lived experience?

Approach
Considering your fundraising strategy, including planning, tools, systems, and the cultural integration of fundraising within your organisation.

Ask
Focuses on the clarity and persuasiveness of your fundraising proposition, including how well you articulate funding needs and proposed impacts.
